Welcome to the Graduate Level 1 curriculum. It’s really sort of a new step for us here. From the Fighter Level we are trying to strive toward the Warrior Level. In that case, being able to solve problems when the problems are changing. And here in this curriculum, as usual, we have about 10 subjects because we are getting better. Some new techniques, of course. And of course, practicing and repeating old ones, something you already learned, but in different variations.
Remember the goal of our training is to teach you how to solve new problems under stress. So always to teach you how to solve new problems. It’s always, in reality, a new problem. It’s never the old problem comes again.
So we are continuing to deal with the threats and problems while we are standing, and while we are on the ground. Here in this level we also focus much more on dealing with different knife stabs. Medium level, medium distance, shorter distance. Different type of grabs of the knife, different type of attacks.
We also focus more on dealing with side kicks at the different levels. It’s much more of a sophisticated kick, less common in the street. But professionals, people with more experience definitely use it. So it’s time that we work against it. And against gun threats.
So here is the first time that you are required to reach a good level of defending pistol threats when the gun is in front of you. Train well, be safe, and all the best.
