Defense From Rifle / Long Gun Threats
By: Eyal Yanilov
The Main Difference between disarming a handgun and a long-rifle stems from how the weapon is held (with both arms in the case of the rifle) and of course, it's length. The techniques taught here taken both from principles we learn in the handgun techniques (understanding the context and threat-level of the situation) as well as the 2 handed stick attacks (as physically -in essence, a gun is a big stick -which of course shoots bullets). Another point where the rifle and pistol defenses differ is when you grab the barrel of a pistol (or semi-automatic handgun) the attacker can only get out one shot (your hold is preventing the mechanism re-firing) -in a rifle situation, this is different. In the videos we will explore the body positioning, technique as well as understanding what to do at the different ranges the rifle threat poses. . . . Watch Videos

Therefore, it is imperative to know how to prevent and release yourself from this choke. . . . Watch Videos

Hand Strikes
By: Eyal Yanilov
One of the most basic building blocks of all fighting systems is the way it's practitioners strike. In Krav Maga, specifically, the way you hold your hand when you punch someone is extremely significant, and can mean the difference between broken bones or a successful encounter with your foe. . . .
