In the simulation tactics from before, we have two people approaching one defender. We simulate two people coming from the front, or one from the front and one from the side. But the difficult situation in case is that one is from the front and the other is from behind. The one from behind is grabbing. The other from the front is striking. The aim of two attackers like this is usually to rob you, to strike you, to punish you, et cetera. If the attacker from the front is far, kick him first and then with the second attacker. Here we do a relevant technique against a bear hug from the rear. Arms are trapped. Striking first for the groin taking the arm out, continuing with strikes and turning around to put the second attacker between you and the first one, the one from the front.
If the distance from the first attacker is longer, naturally we can deal with attacker number two, the one from behind first. We need to understand the priorities here. Which attacker can be dealt and should be dealt with first? Who is more dangerous? If the first attacker is closer, you have no chance of stopping him at a long distance. The trapped hands do not allow you to do any hand defense. So body defense would be most appropriate. Continue with counterattacks with kicks. Knee kicks if it’s a short distance, side-kicks, regular or round house kicks, all as needed. As you are so low, attacking strongly the first attacker as soon as possible, attack on number two. These counterattacks enable you to free yourself.
Notes: For adults, this subject may be considered to be tested in full at higher levels (until G1).
B. Kicks
C. Defenses Against Low Straight Punches
Notes: Use either the forward or rear hand and counterattack as soon as possible.
D. Inside Forearm Defenses Against Punches – Raised Elbow, Low Palm
Attacker approaches diagonally from the side
Notes: The first counterattack is an outward horizontal hammer strike with the defending hand.

F. Defenses Against Punch Combinations (Outside and Inside Defenses)
Notes: Counterattack as early as possible.
Note: Techniques nos. 1 and 2 above are especially effective when assailant is pushing.
H. Releases from Bear Hugs - Arms Free
I. Releases from Bear Hugs - Arms Caught
Notes: Train on the use of a shout and a bite against a bear hug from the front.

L. Releases from Various Hand / Wrist Grabs
Note: Be familiar with the application of the principles: axis and leverage (not pulling); escaping by way of an opening or towards the thumb; circular movements; and using the other hand for assistance.
