As a person who needs to withstand violent confrontations, as a fighter, one should have a quiet mind, a concentrated mind. To have a quiet mind meaning to be able to neutralize the internal gossip, the internal dialogues, the talk that you are talking to yourself all the time. When you’ve got these abilities, then you will be able to perceive the surrounding — you perceive the data from the area — much, much better.
So, the stimulus that will come from the outside, whether vision, hearing, smelling, et cetera, you will be able to identify them much better. You’ll be able to analyze the data faster, without interruption, without distraction, and you will have to do and you’ll be able to do the best decision under stress. What, practically, we are doing, we are teaching you how to improve your decision-making process under stress, how to deal with new types of violent confrontations.
