Attacking from a distance, the attacker tries to tackle you, to take you down. Respond with counter-attacks while balancing yourself to enable strong attacks. When the attack is more surprising, do forearm defense towards the neck and the collarbone while moving the body diagonally to the outside. Counterattack as soon as you can. Continue with the finishing modes.
Attacker is more surprising shooting towards the legs. Strong body defense, moving your legs backwards, sprawl. Your forearms stop and push the opponent down. Counterattack as soon as you can.
Simple drill, Sticky Hands game. The attacker is sitting on the defender trying to push towards the chest and to touch the face. Do inside and outside defenses. The drill is to deal with an attacker who is sitting on you and trying to hit you. This is a simple game preparation for this.
Basic drills and practice against an attacker who is sitting on you. The defender is practicing attacks to different vulnerable points. When it’s possible, trap the hands of your opponent, bridge, turn his body diagonally upwards, roll to the side and come to a much better position with counterattacks. Move away in the two ways that we have been practicing. If the opponent is between your legs, your counterattacks are more efficient, more easy to perform and moving away, pushing the opponent away is with the legs, with the knee and the shin between you and then continue with counter-kicks. You practice as the attacker to attack from different positions. Here you are sitting with the opponent attacking, tying up and crossing his hands and continue with counterattacks.
You should be able to attack to different points in the upper part and the lower part of the body. Push the opponent hands, get up and move away from the danger zone. You are laying across the body of your opponent in a cross-mount position. From this position, attack the vulnerable areas, the head, the eyes, the groin area. Use the elbows, the palms, the knees, all the possibilities should be practiced.
A. Circular Strikes Hooks (Roundhouses) & Uppercuts
Notes: Start drilling both strikes first from a semi-passive stance, then from a ready stance; for the hooks, while in ready stance the front-hand strike has two variations.
D. Kicks
E. Series of Attacks – to the front, side and rear; with different targets, heights and angles
F. Inside Defenses with Palm or Forearm Against Straight Punches
G. Outside Defenses Against Punches
H. Body Defense with Hand Strike to Groin
I. Defending Against an Opponent Attacking from Different Angles
J. Leg Defenses Against Kicks [from passive and ready ('outlet') stances]
Note: Technique no.1 is first applied against regular kicks and later against roundhouse and sidekicks. Techniques 3 and 4 are used against an attack delivered to an unknown height. Use the forearm as previously learned, bony or muscular parts for inside or outside defenses.
K. Choke Releases (including Distance Timeline)
Note: When lack of force, use two hands to remove one of attacker's chocking hand.
L. Defenses Against a Knife Threat (including Distance Timeline)
N. Choke Releases While on the Ground
O. Using Common Objects – Small Objects to Distract
Note: This is used primarily in a situation before an actual attack is made, mainly during the threat stage or in the very early stages of an attack.
Q. Returning Attacker (defend -- attack -- defend)
1. Releases
