Try to avoid the confrontation. Attempt to deescalate it verbally. Attack the attacker the moment you see he has the intention, ability, and the tool to attack you. At a medium distance, you can prevent the attacker from grabbing you. Deflect or block his hands, and counterattack as soon as you can. Reflexive defense at last moment, two hands made a defense, meaning backwards, and counterattacking with them. Education stop. Block the advancement of the attacker at a medium distance. Stop him at the chest with the heel of the hand. Push your fingers to the hollow between the collarbones. The pressure will create irritation, and stop the person away from you. This is a soft technique. Your intention in to talk afterwards. To the opponent, “Move away from me.” Or, “Let me go.” Like this you are trying to finish the incident without really fighting.
“The attacker is happy that I want to go away.” Release from a choke from the front. Two hands plucking motion, with simultaneous counterattacks. The palms is two hooks, as close as possible to your neck. Hit it from the center to the outside. At the same time, stop in place. Deliver knee to the groin. Your body leans backwards. Your chin is lowered. Your face are lowered. Continue with additional counterattacks. Finish with moving away, scanning the area, and going to the next mission you need to do.
