Body defense against strike, bobbing and weaving. As the attacker strikes, duck down in the direction of the strike. Lower your chin, raise your shoulders, bend your knees, crouch at the torso. While lowering yourself, you can strike immediately with action, with the back of the hand and the fingers. Continue to move the body to the other side, strike with the other hand and move diagonally forward to finish the incident. Another option, first you duck down. While you are low, you strike as you move to the other side. This time it will be the palm of the hand striking upwards, fingers also like a whip action.
In the dry drill, look at the body action. The upper body moves downwards like a U-shape, like an ellipse. Practice the body defense, and as you come up, move diagonally forward to come to the better position for counter-attacking. Also like this, you are getting out of the channel of the attack. Ducking down and striking an early strike, and then a second strike while moving to the other side. And then coming up forward with counter-attacks. The other option is first do the body defense, move the body to the other side. Strike and as you come up, you move diagonally forward with more counter-attacks as needed

J. Leg Defenses Against Kicks [from passive and ready ('outlet') stances]
Note: Technique no.1 is first applied against regular kicks and later against roundhouse and sidekicks. Techniques 3 and 4 are used against an attack delivered to an unknown height. Use the forearm as previously learned, bony or muscular parts for inside or outside defenses.
K. Choke Releases (including Distance Timeline)
Note: When lack of force, use two hands to remove one of attacker's chocking hand.
