Roundhouse punch directed diagonally backwards. Practically, this is a hook strike that follows an arch that starts and goes diagonally upwards and then travels downwards towards the clavicle area of the head, jaw of the opponent. As any hook strike that forms sort of a crescent, half a circle, this too is following an arch and lands on the opponent diagonally downwards and forward.
Give a demonstrate a strike with the back hand. Naturally, it is possible to strike with the forward hand too, with the leading hand. In most cases, this strike is part of a set of attacks, a combination, a series of attacks. Like in other hooks, the direction of the form is naturally the direction of the strike itself. To enable a strong and powerful attack, one should use the whole body. Here we are talking about shifting the weight forward, turning the body, pushing with the back leg, crunching of the torso, sending the shoulder in the direction of the attack. Same goes with the weight. After the strike penetrates, one should recoil of course. When you talk about series of attack, when you recoil the strike, another strike is going towards the target.
